Does my image actually stay on my device?

Yes. The resize runs in your browser using the Canvas API. We never see, store, or transmit your image. You can verify this in your browser's network tab — only static files load, no upload requests.

What's the catch? Why is this free?

No catch. The whole tool runs in your browser, so there are no servers and no bandwidth costs. We're validating demand first; a paid tier with batch resize and API access may come later.

Can I batch resize multiple images?

Not in this MVP. We're keeping it single-image-first to validate the core flow. Batch upload is on the roadmap for month 2.

Does it preserve transparency (PNG)?

Marketplace presets fill the background (white by spec). For social media, the canvas is transparent where the original image has transparency.

Why no AI background removal yet?

Adding AI background removal would push the page weight from ~10 KB to ~50 MB, hurting first-paint and SEO. We're keeping the MVP lean and validating the core loop first.

Can I use this commercially for my business?

Absolutely. Use it for your Amazon shop, Etsy store, or client work without restriction. The output is yours. We don't watermark, no attribution required.
